A Bright Yellow Caboose: a wall art print where I used a fauvism oil technique creating this scene of a yellow caboose. This technique uses bold brush strokes, abstract shapes and surreal colors creating a very contemporary look. Click on the picture for a larger image.
This particular wall art print depicts a yellow caboose located on the grounds of the Issaquah Railroad Museum, a preservation of a piece of important history for this region. The setting is Issaquah, Washington and the train station museum. Capturing the look of its peak time in history, this art print is of a yellow caboose sitting on the track. The Issaquah train station was an important stop along the route from downtown Seattle to the mountain towns in the Cascades. Issaquah sits in the foothills of the Cascades and is now an eastern suburb of the Seattle metropolitan area. The train station has been refurbished and now sits as a museum along the abandoned tracks it once served.
I offer this print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
This art print is also available in the following galleries where my art is sold as various sized prints/posters, custom framed prints, wrapped canvas or on a variety of products: Imagekind Pixels fineartamerica
