Full Moon Rising is an art print I created using a variety of different drawing techniques. The end result is an abstract look of a bright full moon rising over a mountain range and being reflected in a lake.  With a bright yellow moon, I chose to stay close to primary colors creating a bold look. I darkened and softened the blue sky as it pulled towards the horizon line and then added bright dashes of white for the stars. The mountain range was inspired by the Estrella Mountains in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Having lived on the western side of those mountains, the natural cragginess of the range always served as a dramatic foreground for full moons rising and sunrises in the morning. (Click on the picture for a larger image)

Through this gallery, I offer this artwork on a print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
