The Colorado Continental Divide On Loveland Pass is an art print I created using a sketching and watercolor technique. This technique uses precise sketched lines and subtle colors creating a sharper look. The setting is the mountain range that makes up the continental divide on Loveland Pass, Colorado. The scene depicts the mountains above the Eisenhower Tunnel which connects Denver on the east to the Lake Dillon area on the western side of the tunnel. The highway that takes you up over Loveland Pass was the only way across the continental divide prior to the tunnel being built. The pass rises to an elevation of 11,991 feet which takes you above tree line. (Click on the picture for a larger image)
Through this gallery, I offer this artwork on a print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
