Pondering the Surf is an art print I created using a gothic oil technique. This technique uses bold brush strokes and earth tone colors to create an old world feel or vintage look. The scene depicts a man on a beach pondering the Hawaiian surf. This beach is on the island of Kauai in the Hawaiian Island chain. It is a secluded beach as you have to hike a trail that takes you up and along the cliffs of the Na Pali coastline and then down into this beach. (Click on the picture for a larger image)

Through this gallery, I offer this artwork on a print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
