"Bunker Hill" is a wall art print done in a gothic oil technique of a street in next to the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston. This technique focuses on bold brush strokes and earth tone colors creating an old world look. (Click on the picture for a larger image)
The setting is Boston, famous for its architecture and preservation of colonial history. The area is rich in the look of modern day America mixed with the colonial heritage and the role it played in the American Revolution. In the historical districts, the charm and original architecture are kept looking almost as they did over 200 years ago. This particular print represents the streets next to the Bunker Hill Monument. It almost has a San Francisco look with the steep hill, but the monument commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill does sit atop a steep hill rising from the river below. I loved the narrowness of the streets true to their original design.
