The Family in Green is an art print I created using a fauvist style of oil painting (Fauvism: a style of painting with vivid expressionistic and non-naturalistic use of color that flourished in Paris from 1905). The inspiration behind this piece are two abstract sculptures we have depicting a family unit. Using them as a basis for this abstract, I created this art print using bright pastel color hues. I positioned the Mom and Dad standing by each other to create a look of partnership. I like the way the bold brush strokes stand out and complete the look. (Click on the picture for a larger image)

Through this gallery, I offer this artwork on a print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
