The Pedestal is an art print I created using a fauvism oil technique. This technique focuses on abstract brush strokes and bold surreal colors creating a very contemporary look. The setting is the Meyer May house in the Heritage Hill District of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The architectural design was done by Frank Lloyd Wright. I love the geometric pattern he created in the design of the home. (Click on the picture for a larger image)
