Tropical Resort Pond: is an art print I created using a traditional watercolor technique. This technique uses subtle brush strokes and colors creating a soft, warm scene. This particular wall art print depicts a pond on the grounds of a Mexican Resort. (Click on the picture for a larger image)

The setting is Mazatlan, Mexico located on the mainland across from the southern most tip of the Baja California peninsula. Mazatlan is home to numerous resorts as part of what is called the Mexican Riviera. Rich in history it was originally settled by the Spanish, but also became home to a German population that helped develop the town into a thriving seaport.  It also hosts an old central town area that strongly resembles the French Quarters of New Orleans.

Through this gallery, I offer this artwork on a print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
