Artist Statement: The art prints in the Tropical Gallery are a compilation of pieces centered on tropical landscapes and sunsets. The look is unique as I used a variety of watercolor and oil painting techniques. The different techniques create totally different visual experiences for a variety of interior designs. Many of the styles can be used in a variety of interior designs depending on the way the art print is matted and framed. The final presentation can make a world of difference allowing the print to either stand out as a focal point or blend in with the rest of the room as a complimentary addition to the overall look.    

My approach to the prints in this gallery was to present a variety of tropical looks from various locations. There are numerous prints of tropical resorts in Mexico and Hawaii, depicting the tropical vacation life style from the vegetation to the beaches. The look would not be complete without palm trees. I have palm tree prints from Arizona, Mexico, Hawaii and California. To complete the tropical look, I have included a variety of tropical sunset prints in different styles. In each print I have tried to capture a setting that pulls you into the print and makes you want to relax in the environment depicted.
