Up, Up and Away is an art print I created using an abstract watercolor technique. The technique focuses on the bright colors of the hot air balloon and less on the details of the subject. The location is in San Diego County near the coast of the Pacific Ocean. San Diego is famous for its sunset rides. As the sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, the onshore flow of winds decrease allowing the balloons to drift inland and descend for a landing before it gets dark. The view is incredible as you ascend over Rancho Santa Fe and quietly drift eastward. (Click on the picture for a larger image)

Through this gallery, I offer this artwork on a print personally signed by me in the size stated. This will be printed on Epson Premium Semi-matte Photo Paper. The paper is 10 ml in thickness, with 96% opacity and a 94 ISO brightness rating. The print is then hand cut, signed by me and packaged in a mailing tube for protection.
